CEO/Head of Performance

Dr. Corey Peacock is currently serving as the Head Performance Coach and Sports Scientist at Peacock Performance Inc.  In this role, he is responsible for providing strength & conditioning, physiological analysis, and injury prevention methodologies for some of the world’s ‘Elite’ Combat Athletes including  Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson, Volkan Oezdemir, Michael Chandler Jr, and Chris Algieri to name a few.  He fulfilled this same role previously with MMA’s The Blackzilians.  Prior to MMA, Dr. Peacock spent his time as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at the collegiate level, where he focused his application on Football.  As a former collegiate football player, Corey graduated from Kent State University with a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. He works closely with many professionals from the NFL, NHL, MMA and NCAAF and is regarded as one of the top Performance Coaches and Sports Scientists in South Florida. Along with coaching, Dr. Peacock also serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance at Nova Southeastern University. As a researcher, he has contributed multiple peer-reviewed publications integrating the fields of exercise physiology, athletic performance, and supplementation. Dr. Peacock serves an an Associate Editor for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.  He is also a Performance Consultant for both The International Society of Sports Nutrition and The Advanced Coaching Academy.  
Performance Nutirition Specialist

Chris Algieri, the Former World Boxing Organization (WBO) Jr. Welterweight Boxing Champion, ISKA World Welterweight Kickboxing Champion and WKA World Super Welterweight World Kickboxing Champion, with over 13 years professional fight experience. Outside the ring, Chris graduated from Stony Brook University with honors in May 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Management and then went on to receive his Master’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He is certified as a Sports Nutritionist (CISSN) through the International Society of Sport Nutrition (ISSN). He often speaks at Sports Performance conferences, seminars and summits on various topics of Human Performance and Nutrition. Chris was recently hired by Stony Brook University as the Head Performance Nutrition Coach. He has the opportunity to work with nearly 500 Division I athletes from 16 different sport teams. Chris’ interest and passion for nutrition and sport is evident in his dealings with the athletes on a daily basis through the grueling schedules of Division I Student Athletes.
Sports Science Specialist

Dr. Gabe Sanders is an Associate Professor of Exercise Science at Northern Kentucky University near Cincinnati, Ohio. As a researcher and sports scientist, Gabe has consulted with professional organizations and Division I programs that range from Power 5 to mid-major conferences to research and analyze sports science and wearable technology data. Gabe specializes in the visualization and statistical analysis of internal and external workload data to help coaches better understand the demands of their respective sport and the impact it can have on their athletes. Gabe has extensive experience utilizing such wearable technology, including Polar, Catapult, and Viper to name a few.  
Performance Research Specialist

Dr. Jose Antonio  is the CEO and co-founder of the International Society of Sports Nutrition (www.theissn.org). Dr. Antonio is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Exercise and Sports Science program at Nova Southeastern University in beautiful South Florida. In his past life, he was the Science Editor for Muscle & Fitness magazine, worked in the marketing department of MET-Rx, and owned a coffee company.  He is a fellow of the International Society of Sports Nutrition and the National Strength and Conditioning Association with multiple research publications in the areas of sports nutrition and sports performance.
